CentrixOne alternative: what to do before it closes, and what to replace it with
CentrixOne’s website announces that its services are closing soon, without giving a date. Before you choose a CentrixOne alternative, get your contacts, your history and your lists out. OKTO PSA can take over client, opportunity and quote tracking, hosted in Quebec. It is not a newsletter platform.
Is CentrixOne really closing?
Yes, the vendor says so itself. On October 2, 2026, the centrix.one home page opened with a message in French titled « Un départ difficile : Fermeture des services CentrixOne » (a difficult departure: closure of CentrixOne services). The site describes the product as « Fièrement canadienne », proudly Canadian, offered to small businesses in French and English. Seeing a CRM from here shut down is nothing to celebrate, and this page is not written to celebrate it. It is for the people who now have to decide what to do with their data. The quotes below are in the original French, with our translation.
| Topic | What the CentrixOne website says | What it changes for you |
|---|---|---|
| The announcementThe home page message. | « C’est le cœur lourd que nous vous annonçons la fermeture prochaine de CentrixOne. » Our translation: it is with a heavy heart that we announce the upcoming closure of CentrixOne. | The closure is announced by the vendor, not by a rumour. You can plan. |
| The dateThe day the service stops. | No date is given. The message only speaks of a closure that is « prochaine », meaning upcoming. | Ask for the date in writing, and do not wait to know it before getting your data out. |
| Help during the transitionWho to write to. | « Si vous avez des questions ou avez besoin d’aide pendant cette période de transition, notre équipe de soutien reste à votre entière disposition » at info@centrix.one. In short: the support team remains available during the transition. | That is where your export questions should go, as early as possible. |
| How to exportGetting your data out. | Not stated on the pages we read. The services page lists « Exportation de données » (data export) among the topics of an administration session, without describing the steps. | We will not give you a procedure we have not read. Ask CentrixOne support for it. |
| HostingWhere your data was. | « Toutes les données sont stockées au Canada. » Our translation: all data is stored in Canada. | A criterion to keep for the replacement: do not go backwards on this. |

What should you do before CentrixOne closes?
Get out everything you can while you still have access to your account, even if you have not chosen what comes next. One file too many costs nothing. A lost history cannot be rebuilt. The CentrixOne website does not explain how to export, so here is what to ask for, not where to click.
Ask for the date in writing
Write to CentrixOne support and ask until when your account stays accessible, and in what form your data will be handed back to you.
Your contacts and companies
That is the minimum: every person, every company, with its fields. Check that the file opens and that accented characters survived before you file it away.
The history
Notes, activities, opportunities won and lost. That is what tells the story of a client relationship, and it is what gets forgotten most often.
Your lists and consents
Keep your mailing lists with, for each person, the date and the source of their consent. That is what you will be asked for the day a mailing is challenged.
Your templates and forms
Copy the text of your standard emails. If forms on your website send their answers into CentrixOne, write them down: they will have to be reconnected elsewhere.
The link with accounting
If your CRM exchanges data with your accounting software, write down what goes through that link. Your accountant will want to know before you do.
How do you choose a CentrixOne alternative?
By asking every candidate the same questions, us included. Here are eight questions, with OKTO PSA’s answer and the reason to ask. One of those answers is a no, and it matters: read the fifth row before going any further. Our grid is on the pricing page.
| Question | OKTOPSA | Why ask it |
|---|---|---|
| Where is the data?Hosting. | In Quebec, in one dedicated database per client. Traffic through Cloudflare’s network; off-site backup copy in Canada. | The CentrixOne website said data was stored in Canada. Changing tools should not set you back. |
| Is it in French?Interface and support. | French by default, English at parity. Support in French and English, Monday to Friday, during business hours. | A half-translated interface shows the first time you send a quote to a client. |
| What does it cost? The posted price. | $300 a month for up to 10 users, $550 for 11 to 20, $700 for 21 to 30. Canadian dollars, before taxes. | Ask for a written price for your number of users, in your currency. |
| Does it track sales?Opportunities and quotes. | Yes: opportunities with your own stages, quotes with GST and QST, full history on the client record. | That is the core of a CRM. The rest is extra. |
| Does it send newsletters?Bulk email marketing. | That is not its territory. It has outreach campaigns (segmented lists, sequences, reply tracking), not a newsletter or web form tool. | If newsletters were your main use of CentrixOne, this is the question that decides. |
| Does it keep consents? The proof, per person. | Yes. A registry records who consented to be contacted, on which channel and on what date. | Your current consents have to follow you, with their dates. |
| Does it talk to accounting?Invoices and payments. | It produces invoices and sends them, with payments, to QuickBooks. It does not replace accounting software. | The CentrixOne website presents a « CRM QuickBooks » product. If you used it, check this link. |
| Who moves the data?Migration. | The OKTO team, for a fixed fee quoted before any commitment. There is no self-serve import. | A CSV template and “good luck” is not a migration. |
Sources: for OKTO PSA, the pages of this site; for CentrixOne, centrix.one/ and centrix.one/services-crm/, read on October 2, 2026. CentrixOne price: not published; the « Prix » link in its menu led to a page not found that day.
How does the data transfer work?
In three steps, done by our team and not by you. The price is set after a first look at what you managed to export, and quoted before any commitment. The full process is on the migration page.
- 01
We look at what you have
A call and the files you exported from CentrixOne. We tell you plainly what transfers well, what transfers badly and what is not worth bringing over.
- 02
We build your instance in parallel
Clients, sites and contacts are set up in your instance while your current account stays open. You validate the data before anyone talks about switching.
- 03
We switch on the date you choose
A final transfer of the last day’s data, and you start your week in OKTO PSA. We stay on the line for the first few weeks.
What OKTO PSA takes over, and what it does not do
OKTO PSA takes over the sales side of a CRM and connects it to the work that follows: projects, tickets, invoices. You can take the CRM alone; it works by itself. The full picture is on the Quebec CRM page, and our hosting commitments are on the security page.
Clients, sites and contacts
One record per client, with its sites and contacts. Two duplicate records can be merged, and the history moves to the one you keep.
Opportunities
From the first conversation to the signed contract, with the stages you define, a funnel by stage and loss reasons tracked.
Quotes
Produced with GST and QST, from the same price list as invoicing. The client accepts them online.
Emails on the record
Emails exchanged in Microsoft 365 or Gmail show on the client or prospect record, read-only.
The consent registry
Who consented, on which channel, on what date. The questions to ask any vendor are gathered in our CRM and Law 25 guide.
What it does not do
Bulk newsletters, web forms and lead scoring. It has no public API and no webhooks. We would sooner write it here.
When another product is a better choice
OKTO PSA is not the right replacement for every CentrixOne customer. In three cases another tool will serve you better, and we will tell you so on the phone as well.
Newsletters are your main use
If you mostly send emails to large subscriber lists, with automated sequences, pick a tool that specializes in sending. That is not what OKTO PSA is for.
You need an API
Website forms, an online store, connectors: if your CRM has to receive data from elsewhere, know that OKTO PSA has no public API.
You are one or two people
At $300 a month for the first tier, OKTO PSA is too much for a simple contact book. Our comparison of CRMs for small businesses in Quebec lists other options.
Frequent questions
The questions we get asked
Your question is not here?
Write to us. A person in Trois-Rivières answers, within one business day.
Ask your questionOn October 2, 2026, the centrix.one home page showed a message in French titled « Un départ difficile : Fermeture des services CentrixOne », announcing « la fermeture prochaine de CentrixOne », the upcoming closure of CentrixOne. No date is given. To find out the deadline for your account, write to the CentrixOne support team at the address shown in that message.
The centrix.one pages we read on October 2, 2026 do not describe the procedure. The closure message invites customers to write to support at info@centrix.one. Ask for an export of your contacts, companies, opportunities, notes, lists and consents, in an open format, and check each file as soon as you receive it.
It depends on what you used it for. To track clients, opportunities and quotes, OKTO PSA is a CentrixOne alternative hosted in Quebec, in French and English, at $300 a month for up to 10 users. If you mostly used newsletters and marketing automation, a tool that specializes in sending email will suit you better.
No, that is not its territory. OKTO PSA has outreach campaigns with segmented lists, sequences and reply tracking, as well as a consent registry. It does not offer a bulk newsletter tool or web forms. If that was your main use, keep a sending tool beside it or choose a different replacement.
$300 a month for up to 10 users, $550 for 11 to 20, $700 for 21 to 30, and a price worked out with you beyond that. Prices are in Canadian dollars, before GST and QST. The CRM, work management and HR are included in every tier. Adding a person within a tier does not change the bill.
The OKTO team does it, for a fixed fee quoted before any commitment. The schedule depends on the volume and the state of your data: we set the plan and the switch date with you before starting. Since CentrixOne’s closing date is not published, export your data now, without waiting until you have chosen.
With OKTO PSA, your instance and its dedicated database, never shared with another subscriber, are hosted in Quebec. Traffic goes through the Cloudflare protection network, and a backup copy is kept off site, in Canada. An encrypted daily backup is kept for 30 days, and your data belongs to you and can be exported.
Leaving CentrixOne? Send us what you exported.
No charge and no commitment. We look at your files, tell you what transfers and what does not, and what it costs. If OKTO PSA is not the right tool for you, we will say that too. To see the product first, the interactive demo runs in your browser.
